But Wait, Why Are You Open on Sunday?

After much thought, it was decided that the museum should be accessible to patrons on Sunday (the traditional Christian Sabbath) day.  In spite of the dictate to "keep the Sabbath day holy" the mission of the museum is to education and inspire patrons so that they may "Come Unto Christ."  The principle that the "Sabbath is for man, and not man for the Sabbath," leads us to believe that Sunday is perhaps the best day for the museum to be open and the best way to keep the sabbath day holy.  However, no employee or volunteer is compelled to work on Sunday if they feel this would be a violation of their commitment to Christ.  Note that the museum opens late in the day on Sunday to allow workers the opportunity to attend church services.
